This competition is a Lusid Hair Promotion. This promotion run from the 1st to the 28th of February 2023. Participants can have a maximum of 2x entries per person. The first entry is by uploading a hair flick video to Vouch (link below). The second entry only qualifies as a bonus entry if you have already uploaded a video on Vouch. Every year we celebrate Hair Flick Feb. Last year we raised funds for Rainbow Youth. This year I have decided to support Auckland Pride as this also coincides with Pride Month. Pride is a turning point that inspires me. Change can happen.
In corporate life; I wasn't never going to have the same opportunities as a female of ethnicity as I would if I were a European male. I learnt that corporate life wasn't about doing good, and to my surprise it often wasn't even about making money for the company. It was more about power, playing the corporate game and personal greed. From my learning I decided that I wanted Lusid to be a company that values #inclusivity #diversity and #equality; it does not discriminate against others freedom of choice to be who they want to be.
Instead of focusing on just the hair structure that makes the most money, Lusid is about accepting all hair structures and sharing hair confidence no matter what your hair type is, or if you even have hair at all. #hairconfidence.
Hair Flicks & Tricks for Pride
On Saturday the 4th of February Lusid Hair Sponsored Hair Flicks & Tricks for Pride. A pole and dance showcase to share support for the rainbow community. As an active member in the circus and pole dance community, I have found an opportunity to promote dance as a safe space for those that identify as LGBTQIA+. All proceeds from this showcase will be donated to Auckland Pride as well as 5%of Lusid Sales for the month of Feb.
